North Carolina recognizes family child care as a key component to its early care and education system by funding the NC Statewide Family Child Care Project to be a cornerstone in NC's effort to stabilize and rebuild the family child care community across the state.
The NC Statewide Family Child Care Project works to provide a systematic plan to ensure all family child care providers have access to technical assistance, professional development and enhanced business practices focusing on retaining existing and increasing availability of FCC providers to families across North Carolina.
We collaborate with partners and stakeholders at both state and federal levels to influence policy discussions favorably affecting licensed Family Child Care professional educators.
We work to ensure family child care programs have an opportunity to participate in professional development and technical assistance activities resulting in higher quality care for children served.
Our statewide team includes Family Child Care Consultants with early education backgrounds and experience and a passion to support increasing and enchancing family child care across all of NC's 100 counties.
