As early education professionals, the Statewide FCC Project recognizes the critical importance of continuous learning throughout our careers. Attending conferences not only provides opportunities to acquire new knowledge but also offers tangible benefits that significantly enhance our professional development. For family child care providers, conference participation is essential for expanding both their skills and knowledge base, ultimately improving business performance and enabling them to effectively implement new ideas with the children and families they serve.
To support this ongoing professional growth, the Statewide FCC Project allocated funds for Conference Scholarships. Through a lottery-style selection process, 15 family child care businesses have been chosen to receive Scholarship Awards. These awards are specifically intended to assist with expenses associated with attending the 2024 National Family Child Care Association Conference. By participating in this conference, recipients can further their professional development, gain valuable insights, and bring back innovative practices to enhance their own childcare services.
