With the goal of expanding family child care availability and ensuring sustainability through enhanced business practices, a pilot round of grant funding has been made available for application. These funds are intended to support both new and existing family child care businesses by assisting with start-up costs related to establishing licensed facilities. This competitive grant opportunity was awarded based on specific criteria to eligible applicants demonstrating a commitment to improving family child care services.

Later this summer, information will be released regarding the availability of grant applications for another round of funding.
